How much are tickets to UpClose Chamber Music performances?
Tickets to UpClose Chamber Music performances are $40 each for General Admission and include a complementary glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage.
Kids and students get in free, but pre-registration is requested. All children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Non-alcoholic beverages are available for attendees under age 21.
Is parking available at the Ackland?
Convenient parking is available at several nearby municipal and private parking decks, as well as over 430 metered spaces within a 10-minute walk of the Ackland Art Museum. Visit https://ackland.org/visit/ for more details.
Is the Ackland an accessible venue?
The Ackland’s front entrance has a ramp accessible via the driveway off of Columbia Street near Franklin Street. Our front doors are not equipped with an automatic opener, but the guards at our front desk watch for visitors who may need assistance.
There are two accessible parking spaces in our Porthole Alley lot. Enter the lot off of South Columbia St. between the Ackland and Top of the Hill. Drive to the end of the lot and turn right. Visitors using the accessible parking spaces must display the appropriate University or DOT disability placard or plate. Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.
